  • Laser II (1980's), recently overhauled and in good, sail-ready condition, trapeze, spi, accesories and trailer. $1750 OBO

    Selling Laser II, Canadian build, 1980's hull. It has a one-piece mast, and spinnaker bag (no trumpet through the foredeck). I overhauled the boat recently, replacing most of the fittings, standing and running rigging. Boat comes with one set of sails (used in workable condition), and a fairly new spi. The hull is stiff and in good shape, with some minor gelcoat repairs on deck. The auto-bailer and hiking rails are newly replaced. The foils are in excellent condition. The boat comes with all necessary running rigging, fitted deck-cover, and windex indicator. Also included is a Long trailer in excellent condition.

    Last raced in the 2009 Gulf Coast Laser Champs with a 9th place finish out of 23.
    No leaks, after it is sailed warm air comes out of the rear plug. Garage kept.
    Small section on rail damaged and fixed with epoxy. Stronger than before! Other than that its in great racing condition.

    This hull was manufactured in Rhode Island in October of 2002. It is a 2002 model year.

    I bought this Laser new and have only used it fall frostbiting beginning in 2004. The boat has always been properly stored using the dolly never left on the trailer. Two minor scratches on the bottom that need to be buffed out. When you open the inspection port you can still smell the resin so it is obviously a completely dry hull.
